The first time I went to Raja Ampat Regency was in early July this year.
At the “buka bersama” event (where people in Jefman Island, the island where I lived for about two months usually prepares snacks for iftar in the mosque), I taste a very delicious cake called Lontar. It was made of baked pie crust, topped with tasty mixture of milk, butter and eggs.
I made the cake with my friends and my host-mother together, to welcome the Idul Fitri. How fun and delicious!
